THE CHALLENGE
Once Sargassum reaches the beach, recovery becomes much harder.
On the beach, Sargassum becomes mixed with sand and other waste and begins to decompose. The Oceanbound concept is therefore to intercept and remove it offshore before it reaches tourist beaches and coastal areas.
